It was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on 23 July, 1996. The company was establish for the purpose of publishing and marketing textbooks for all levels of learning - Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary. The company has equally distinguish itself in the marketing of reference, professional and general reading materials. The company effectively changed its name from Longman Nigeria Plc to learn Africa Plc on 26th October, 2011
