The Company was incorporated on 30th August 1957 as a Private Limited Liabilty Company. It was converted to a Public Limited Liability Company in 1991 and the shares are currently quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. On 14th May 1997, Pfizer Inc. N.Y. divested from the company through a management buy-out. The company's name was subsequently changed to Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc by a special resolution. The Principal activities of the Company are the manufacture and marketing of pharmaceutical and animal health products and general health care products.
